It started with a Super Like on Tinder. We're not embarrassed — if anything, we think it shows good judgment.

The First Date
Our first date was at Eatery A. Blaise arrived early — Sarah arrived fashionably late. The staff had their doubts when just one half of the reservation showed up. The room got a little better when she walked in.
Blaise bought dinner, Sarah bought drinks at Wellman's. A fair deal, by any measure.
2025
The Proposal
After a day of plans Blaise had quietly put together, the two of them ended up alone in a suite at Hotel Fort Des Moines — the same hotel where they'll get married. He proposed there first, just the two of them.
Then they went downstairs to the speakeasy for photos, champagne, and dinner at Fresco. She said yes twice. He's still relieved.

March 12th. Hotel Fort Des Moines. In front of everyone who matters.
Two people becoming one family. And a name that fits them both.
